Neon Abyss 2 guide Steam store page

Load Dual Sticks, then enable Right Stick Attack

Single Stick
One of the two starter controller presets in the quoted guide.
Dual Sticks
The other starter preset, and the profile you load before classic Right Stick Attack.
Right Stick Attack
The custom toggle the quoted guide uses to restore the classic scheme.

    Steps

    1. Open Custom Settings from the controller options.
    2. Load the Dual Sticks profile.
    3. Enable Right Stick Attack if you want the classic scheme.

Classic controller path

Start on Single Stick or Dual Sticks, and restore the classic controller scheme by loading Dual Sticks and enabling Right Stick Attack.

The quoted Control entry says controller players start with the presets Single Stick or Dual Sticks, then fine-tune in custom settings. The veteran path is Custom Settings, load the Dual Sticks profile, and enable Right Stick Attack.

The 1.0 notes add that the menu button steps back one level at a time, QTEs follow your custom movement bindings, and controller vibration and screen shake have separate settings. Neon Abyss 1 keyboard charts are left out of this page.

Steps, requirements, and a stuck case are on this page.

What you need

Full controller support is a Steam category on app 2235200. The preset names are the quoted codex, checked against build 2026.10.8.72af32744d5 by capydb.

If you get stuck

If attacks stay on the face buttons after you expected stick attacks, the Right Stick Attack toggle is still off. Load Dual Sticks first, then enable that toggle. The 1.0 notes also fixed movement staying locked after a continue, which is a separate bug from the preset.
