Start Abyss Invasion on floor 1, pick a Faith at the pillar, and leave Storm Breach for a shorter co-op run.

The 1.0 status sits with that choice: the US store date is Oct 7, 2026, and the announcement uses October 8.

The quoted in-game guide says a Faith pillar appears in each floor's starting room. From the second floor, each change of Faith causes one hit. Floor 1 is the switch you can still make before that hit begins.

Storm Breach is the 1.0 mode Veewo took out of beta for every player, built as a faster 1 to 4 player co-op route. The Games Press launch note adds one-way doors on that route.

    1. Open the bar and choose Abyss Invasion for the floor-by-floor route.
    2. On floor 1, use the Faith pillar in the starting room before you leave.
    3. Read the launch date conflict before you treat a patch video as the store date.

Which 1.0 date to trust

The US Steam store record checked on 2026-10-09 prints the release date Oct 7, 2026 and coming_soon false. The developer announcement is titled for October 08, and Games Press dates the launch release 08/10/2026. Both dates stay on the page. This guide does not collapse them into one calendar day.

Price on that same US store check: list $19.99, shown $15.99, 20 percent off. Prices move. Windows is the only Steam platform flag. Mac and Linux are false on the base game.

If you get stuck

If a continue drops you in the wrong mode, the June 26 patch already recorded a Storm Raid continue entering Abyss Invasion by mistake. Finish or abandon that continue before you judge the mode select.
